Finding a new doctor is hard, painful and nerve-wracking. I finally bit the bullet and started my 'find the perfect doctor search' last week. My first call was to a lady who had been recommended to me by a new and very trust worthy friend. Alas, she doesn't take new patients. (There ensued a fairly disproportionate tantrum and a panic attack... Boy is that a story with some baggage for another day!)The second place I called had a female doctor who was taking new patients. I booked myself and my list of problems and expectations in for the next day. People - ask for prayer when you are doing something big. God listens and answers! I seriously hit the jackpot with this lady. She was awesome! We covered everything. I didn't feel rushed. She was straight forward but nice about it. She poked me and prodded me and looked me in the eye. I like her.
And she sent me for a blood test. I didn't faint or even get too dizzy - this, my friends is a day of major victory!
