Day 308

(Firstly excuse the dust!) I have a pretty decent CD collection...for a person who likes punk, rock, MXPX!,...and more recently, accoustic type music, Angus and Julia Stone type stuff. A couple of years ago when I was living with one of my sister she alphabetised the collection. To begin with I thought she was nuts...but with over 300 CD's it makes sense because I can find what I am looking for a lot quicker. I also had a lot of empty cases and CD's in wrong cases...or in a CD wallet that had been in the car. SO yesterday I put the CD's that were in the wallets back into their cases...while I was doing this I found CD's in the wrong cases and so returned them to their right case. AND then some cases were missing so those CD's remained in the CD wallets. Sounds silly but I really enjoyed myself because I got to think about CD's and the music they contained...some I haven't listened to in a really long time, there was even a couple I've NEVER listened too. While there are some that had high rotation in different times in my life and I got to think about them and reminisce! There was a time in my life when buying CD's was really important to me. More recently it isn't so much, but no and again I'll be at a certain store and pick up a couple of new ones!. And you know I felt the urge to order them! So I had to strike while the iron was hot! :)
